Su presencia en un inventario de bienes del año 1622 ha permitido detectar algunas voces de este ámbito científico no recogidas en los diccionarios y formas no registradas de otros vocablos. Se estudian aquí los términos de medicinas de mayor interés filológico, aportando datos sobre su origen, documentación, variación y significado, teniendo en cuenta un catálogo de productos medicinales de finales del siglo xvi.; The terms related to medicines present in dictionaries usually come from medical or pharmaceutical texts. Their presence in an inventory of goods of the year 1622 has made it possible to detect some voices of this scientific field not included in the dictionaries and unregistered forms of other words. Tras mostrar las circunstancias del éxodo de judíos españoles y portugueses, se revisan los estudios llevados a cabo sobre el contacto del español y el portugués, y los principios del contacto de lenguas. Se dedica especial atención al análisis de la presencia de elementos del portugués en el testamento de una mujer, viuda de un sefardita portugués para observar el proceso de nivelación lingüística en tales documentos.; This study analyses notarial protocols of the Sephardim community of Livorno (Italy) in the 17th century. The documents mainly include wills and goods inventories that show interferences from other languages in the texts written in Spanish. After considering the circumstances for the exodus of Spanish and Portuguese Jews, this study reviews the works on the contact between the Spanish and the Portuguese, and the beginning of language contact. This costumbrista piece consists of a satire in which customs, prejudices and vices of an ill society are shown. The comical treatment of topics such as corruption in politics, emigration and the desire of the characters to escape from an oppressive situation completely meets the theoretical idea of the nature and the purpose of the comedy generated by Henri Bergson. Moreover, poetic procedures used to create comedy –in accordance with those discussed by the philosopher– can be clearly appreciated in this work, according to the philosopher.; The critical works by George Bernard Shaw, whether under the name of GBS or Corno di Bassetto, date back to far before he made his debut as a playwright, when he made a living as the most feared critic of the London press. Shaw continued practising criticism in the long prefaces that he added to his own published works, and in the countless amount of letters in which the Irish author unleashed his favourite hobby: giving his opinion on everything. Para ello, se han extraído del archivo personal del dramaturgo para su análisis tanto las piezas representadas en los escenarios como las publicadas y las inéditas. Paralelamente ha sido necesario acudir a la prensa de la época (segunda mitad del siglo XX) para poder fijar con precisión las fechas de los estrenos y la acogida que tuvo cada pieza por parte de la crítica y del público asistente.; This paper is intended to approach the career of the Canarian playwright, Orlando Hernández Martin, to the scientific community. It also pretends to emphasize his contribution to the dramatic genre and the influence of his work in the society of his time. Thus, pieces of work which have been performed as well as published and unpublished works have been taken from the personal file of the author for their analysis.
