El genial poeta peruano César Vallejo se vio poderosamente influenciado en el comienzo de su andadura poética por el modernismo, y sobre todo por uno de los más grandes representantes de este movimiento: Rubén Darío. El trabajo muestra con precisión y coherencia, en primer lugar, las influencias modernistas de Vallejo en su poesía y pasa a analizar el alejamiento de Vallejo de esta tendencia artística. Todo el trayecto de adhesión primitiva y separación posterior se puede observar en su primera obra titulada Los heraldos negros. La progresión personal de este maravilloso poeta es analizada en profundidad y explicada de forma muy pertinente en el artículo. Se analizan el contexto social y cultural del Perú de la época, así como el impacto del modernismo en la capital peruana inherente en la poesía vallejiana. Y lo más relevante, se explica cómo al alejarse del modernismo, Vallejo se acerca a su tierra, a su mundo indígena, del cual surge toda la fuerza poética del bardo peruano.
The brilliant Peruvian poet Cesar Vallejo was powerfully influenced in the beginning for the modernism, and especially for one of the biggest representatives of this movement: Rubén Darío. The work shows accurately and coherence, firstly, Vallejo's modernist influences in his poetry; and, secondly, Vallejo's withdrawal of this artistic trend. The whole distance of primitive adhesion and later separation can be observed in his first poet work titled Los Heraldos negros. The personal progression of this wonderful poet is analyzed in depth and explained of very pertinent form in the article. There is analyzed the social and cultural context of Peru as well as the impact of the modernism in the Peruvian capital. And the most relevant thing, Vallejo approaches his land, to his indigenous world, from which there arises all the poetical force of the Peruvian bard.
