En el ámbito escolar, la disgrafía motriz se manifiesta a través de letras deformes, lentitud, líneas inestables y fatiga al escribir entre otros signos de manifiesto. Un factor poco considerado en estas dificultades es la lateralidad cruzada, que ocurre cuando el niño/a no presenta una dominancia definida en mano, ojo o pie, lo que afecta la coordinación y la automatización de los movimientos gráficos que intervienen en la escritura. Esta indefinición puede generar errores en la calidad del trazo. Diversos estudios afirman que la lateralidad cruzada representa un riesgo importante para el aprendizaje, ya que implica un uso desorganizado de los hemisferios cerebrales afectando el proceso lectoescritor. Por ello, el presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado busca abordar esta problemática desde una perspectiva integral desde la detección temprana del trastorno hasta la elaboración de una guía práctica dirigida a docentes y familias, con el fin de favorecer el desarrollo de una lateralidad homogénea a través de la mejora de la motricidad fina, facilitando así una escritura más eficaz, automatizada y funcional que superen las dificultades de la propia disgrafía propiamente dicha. Writing is a complex skill that involves the integration of physical, sensory and mental aspects. In the school environment, motor dysgraphia manifests itself through deformed letters, slowness, unstable lines and fatigue when writing, among other obvious signs. A factor little considered in these difficulties is crossed laterality, which occurs when the child does not present a defined dominance in hand, eye or foot, which affects the coordination and automation of the graphic movements involved in writing. This lack of definition can lead to errors in the quality of the handwriting. Several studies affirm that crossed laterality represents an important risk for learning, since it implies a disorganized use of the cerebral hemispheres affecting the reading and writing process.
