<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract" lang="es">El presente estudio analiza la percepción y adopción del aprendizaje&#xd;
móvil (m-learning) en una universidad privada española, evaluando su&#xd;
impacto en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. A través de una&#xd;
metodología mixta con triangulación de datos, se han examinado los&#xd;
resultados de cuestionarios aplicados a estudiantes y de entrevistas&#xd;
realizadas a docentes. Estos hallazgos se han interpretado a la luz de la&#xd;
literatura científica sobre la materia.&#xd;
Los hallazgos revelan que el m-learning facilita el acceso a contenidos&#xd;
educativos y potencia la autonomía del estudiante, aunque su&#xd;
implementación efectiva depende de factores como la formación en&#xd;
competencias digitales, el respaldo institucional y la calidad de los recursos&#xd;
digitales. Se identifican barreras como la distracción digital, la falta de&#xd;
capacitación docente y la necesidad de estrategias metodológicas bien&#xd;
estructuradas para integrar estas tecnologías en el aula.&#xd;
A partir de estos resultados, se propone el desarrollo de programas de&#xd;
formación en competencias digitales para docentes y estudiantes, así como&#xd;
el diseño de políticas institucionales que favorezcan la integración del mlearning&#xd;
en la educación superior</dim:field>
<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract" lang="es">This study examines the perception and adoption of mobile learning (mlearning)&#xd;
in a private Spanish university, assessing its impact on the teaching&#xd;
and learning process. Through a mixed-methods approach with data&#xd;
triangulation, questionnaire results from students and semi-structured&#xd;
interviews with faculty members were analyzed. These findings were&#xd;
interpreted in light of the relevant scientific literature.&#xd;
Findings reveal that m-learning enhances students' access to educational&#xd;
content and fosters autonomous learning. However, its effective&#xd;
implementation depends on factors such as digital competence,&#xd;
institutional support, and the quality of educational resources. Identified&#xd;
barriers include digital distraction, a lack of teacher training, and the need&#xd;
for well-structured pedagogical strategies to integrate these technologies&#xd;
in the classroom.&#xd;
Based on these results, the study proposes the development of training&#xd;
programs in digital competencies for both faculty and students, as well as&#xd;
the design of institutional policies that support the integration of mlearning&#xd;
in higher education</dim:field>
