Los más recientes estudios en materia medioambiental arrojan cifras verdaderamente preocupantes sobre el deterioro ambiental provocado por el ser humano y sus actividades así como el progresivo agotamiento de los recursos si continuamos con el ritmo de consumo actual.
La presente crisis social en forma de pobreza y desigualdad que padece la humanidad guarda una estrecha relación con el modo en que muchas corporaciones gestionan su forma de operar y que por otra parte nosotros sostenemos con el consumo.
Ante esta problemática surge el Consumo Responsable como alternativa al actual modo de consumir, incorporando al acto de consumo la reflexión y valorando las posibles consecuencias que nuestra compra puede suponer en materia económica, social y medioambiental.
La sociedad experimenta un creciente conocimiento de este concepto, asociándolo en la mayor parte a aspectos medioambientales. Actitudes como el reciclaje y la adquisición de productos naturales y de eficiencia energética comienzan a adquirir protagonismo en la manera de funcionar de muchos ciudadanos españoles, sin embargo, la falta de información sobre “Consumo Responsable”, y las dificultades en forma de precio elevado y difícil acceso a una serie de productos con características responsables hacen que los atributos tradicionales precio, calidad y marca sigan siendo determinantes a la hora de elegir un producto.
The most recent studies on environmental issues shed truly worrying figures about the environmental deterioration caused by human beings and their activities as well as the progressive depletion of resources if we continue with the current consumption rate. The present social crisis in the form of poverty and inequality that humanity suffers has a close relation with the way many corporations manage their way to operate and which on the other hand we argue with the consumption. Before this problem arises responsible consumption as an alternative to the current mode of consumption, adding to the act of consumption reflection and appreciating the possible consequences that our purchase can involve economic, social and environmental.
