En este artículo se analizan los monumentos efímeros
levantados en Burgos con motivo de las exequias reales celebradas
en los siglos XVI y XVII, sus características, su encargo y ejecución,
dentro del complejo organizativo de aquellas celebraciones de exaltación
de la monarquía.
This article examines the ephemeral monuments built
in Burgos because of the royal exequies that were celebrated during
the 16th and 17th centuries. In addition, it also considers other topics
as their characteristics, order and execution within those celebrations
to exalt monarchy.
