En el presente artículo se ofrece un listado de las principales
manifestaciones literarias que tienen al conde Fernán González como protagonista, desde los primeros textos medievales hasta
el siglo XIX, señalándose sus ediciones críticas comentadas cuando
sea pertinente. Para ello se empleará como fuente el Ciclo poético
de Correa Calderón, actualizándolo con nuevas aportaciones provenientes
de estudios posteriores y bases de datos digitales. El objetivo
de este trabajo, por tanto, es ofrecer un completo panorama de
la materia que permita estudiar la pervivencia y evolución del personaje
a lo largo de los siglos, y cómo se ha ido adaptando a las necesidades
literarias de cada momento.
In this paper we offer a list of the principal literary manifestations which present the count Fernán González as the main character, since the first medieval manifestations to the nineteenth century
texts; critical and commented editions will be pointed when
it’s the case. For this reason, we’ll use as the principal source the Ciclo
poético, by Correa Calderón, actualizing it with new contributions
from recent researches and databases. The objective of this paper is to
offer a complete perspective of this subject that allows to study the
maintenance and evolution of the character along the centuries, and
how he has been adapting itself to the literary needs of each period.
