Presentamos en este trabajo un estudio sobre los tocados
de los relieves de Felipe Vigarny en el trasaltar de la Catedral de
Burgos. Veremos aquellos que se llevaron con más frecuencia durante
el reinado de los Reyes Católicos y otros de aspecto muy particular
que daban un toque original a su propietario. Durante ese periodo
de tiempo, tanto hombres como mujeres iban con la cabeza cubierta,
por tanto, fue parte fundamental del vestido.
We present a study on the headdresses of the reliefs of
Felipe Vigarny in the ambulatory of Burgos’ Cathedral. We will see
those wore more frequently during the reign of the Reyes Católicos
and others of a very particular aspect that gave an original touch to
its owner. During that period of time, both men and women went with
their heads covered, therefore, it was a very important part of the
dress.
