Este desarrollo se da en las primeras semanas y se lleva a cabo a través de unas leyes y principios.  El desarrollo de las diferentes capacidades psicomotoras se puede agrupar para su estudio en cuatro condiciones: 1) tono muscular y control postural; 2) motricidad de locomoción; 3) motricidad de manipulación; 4) motricidad gráfica.</dc:description>

bodily movements and actions, as well as the mental and conscious representation of these&#xd;

individual’s development. This development takes place in the first weeks of life, following&#xd;
various laws and principles.&#xd;
The development of the different psychomotor skills can be grouped for study into four&#xd;

Dakle, riječ je o neprekidnom razvoju sposobnosti izvođenja niza tjelesnih pokreta i radnji, kao i mentalnog i svjesnog predočavanja tih pokreta i radnji, koje su u ranijim razdobljima života od temeljne važnosti za razvoj pojedinca. Taj se razvoj odvija u prvim tjednima života, prateći različite zakonitosti i načela.&#xd;
Razvoj različitih psihomotornih vještina može se, za potrebe proučavanja, podijeliti u četiri skupine: 1) napetost mišića i upravljanje držanjem tijela; 2) mišićno-koštane motoričke vještine; 3) motoričke vještine rukovanja; 4) grafomotorika.</dc:description>
