Cuando se quiere definir la información procedente de los medios de comunicación, los usuarios
utilizan diferentes calificativos relacionados con la veracidad, objetividad, sesgo, influencia, etc…
influyendo en la percepción de estas cualidades la línea editorial y/o la propiedad de los diferentes
grupos de comunicación y el empeño que pongan en trabajar con la noticia desde la veracidad,
evitando la propagación de fake news a través de su medio. Diversos informes inciden en el
problema del decrecimiento de la confianza en la información en España, con lo que se hace
necesario un mayor compromiso de los medios. Se sigue la metodología del estudio y análisis de la
normativa legal existente. Existen en diversos ámbitos de la vida diaria distintas clasificaciones que
anticipan ciertas características a los consumidores, incluso en el campo audiovisual. Sin embargo,
no existe ningún criterio verificador que califique el grado de veracidad de una noticia,
independientemente de la línea editorial del medio, empoderando con ello al usuario en su
capacidad crítica y analítica. En este trabajo se propone un modelo clasificatorio, que permita
etiquetar a cada noticia difundida digitalmente, anticipando su grado de verosimilitud, apoyándose
para hacerlo en la normativa legal vigente y en criterios objetivos.
The continued presence of gossip and fake news is perceived by Spanish users as one of the main
problems when accessing information. The mistrust of the media caused by this situation undermines
their credibility among the public, making it necessary to categorize the news to help the users to
value their credibility. Methodology used is the analysis of the Audiovisual Communication General
Law and the study of the tools used in its articles. The articles of the current legislation, referring to
the control by the users, the pluralism, the advertising level of the contents and the use of the kids
platform tv allow us the generation of operating guidelines that clearly show the veracity of the new.
The control of the contents by the users and their performance through the kids platform tv may be
used as a working model for the establishment of a catalog of the news that can reduce the distrust of the users in the media, showing their degree of credibility. Disinformation and fake news are a
serious and growing problem that must be treated. One way to do this is through the establishment
of Self-Regulation Codes by the media and the compromise to comply with them, following preexisting models supported by the Audiovisual Communication General Law, such as those
established for the defense of the rights of minors.
