<title>Experiences of Knowledge Transfer on Industrial Heritage Using Games, Storytelling, and New Technologies</title>

<description>Experiences of Knowledge Transfer on Industrial Heritage Using Games, Storytelling, and New Technologies
Andrés López, Gonzalo; Checa Cruz, David
The industry has a relevant spatial and socioeconomic importance in most of the Spanish cities and nowadays is one of themain urban economic activities. However, in many situations, and despite recent advances in the past two decades, industrialheritage is a value that is still not sufficiently widespread in society. The factories, their activity, and their historical evolutionare often disconnected and isolated from the daily life of the cities, being quite an unknown aspect for most of the citizens.This contribution presents the result of various experiences of knowledge transmission on the heritage value of industry,through the use of games and storytelling technique as an educational tool and the combination of different technologies(3D modelling, videomapping, virtual reality) as useful tools to spread the explanation of this phenomenon.

Este trabajo analiza la segregación residencial y la diferenciación socioespacial en 34 áreas&#13;
urbanas articuladas por ciudades medias españolas. Se muestra la complejidad de estos estudios en estas&#13;
tipologías urbanas, en las que la aparente proximidad espacial de los grupos sociales esconde diferencias&#13;
internas en los procesos analizados. Además de la talla y los factores estructurales globales, son los&#13;
factores contextuales aquellos importantes para comprender la segregación. A su vez, las diferencias&#13;
socioespaciales están principalmente condicionadas por el estatus social, el ciclo vital y el régimen de&#13;
tenencia de la vivienda, este último cobrando especial importancia.; This study examines residential segregation and socio-spatial differentiation in 34 urban areas&#13;
structured around medium-sized Spanish cities. It highlights the complexity of analyzing these urban&#13;
typologies, where the apparent spatial proximity of social groups conceals significant internal differences&#13;
in the processes studied. Beyond size and global structural factors, contextual elements are important to&#13;
understanding segregation. Furthermore, socio-spatial differences are primarily influenced by social&#13;
status, life course, and housing tenure, with the latter assuming particular importance.

<title>Escenarios de producción agraria territorializada: los olivares del Duero (Castilla y León)</title>
<link>https://hdl.handle.net/10259/11656</link>
<description>Escenarios de producción agraria territorializada: los olivares del Duero (Castilla y León)
Martínez Arnáiz, Marta; Baraja Rodríguez, Eugenio; Molinero Hernando, Fernando
Changes in environmental conditions due to climate change, together with the&#13;
development of intensive precision agriculture, have enabled new crops, such as olive groves, to be&#13;
cultivated in areas that were previously considered a thermal limit, like the central plains of Castilla y&#13;
León in Spain. The expansion of olive groves towards the east (provinces of Zamora and Valladolid), is&#13;
taking place along the Douro, a river renowned for its wine and olive production in the portuguese&#13;
North Region and along the border of the Raya. Although the olive groves in the sedimentary basins&#13;
cover very little surface area, they are linked to the quality and productive/business diversification&#13;
strategies of wineries registered in the Douro wine DO. The interest lies in the multifunctionality of&#13;
quality productions (wine and olive oil), which give rise to complementary business activities (wine&#13;
and olive oil tourism), with the territory of origin and the landscape serving as axes of differentiation&#13;
and prestige. This study aims to explore the scope and significance of olive grove development in an&#13;
area without a cultivation. The discussion focuses on revising the concept of territorial anchorage since&#13;
the uniqueness of the territory and overcoming environmental limitations of the production space are&#13;
the main arguments used to characterize these oils.

Vineyard production is an iconic element of the Iberian regions connected by the River&#13;
Douro. It is also one of the most important pillars of the local economy, involving numerous actors&#13;
along a traditional value chain based on vineyard work, winemaking and wine marketing. Now, a&#13;
strong enotourism sector has emerged, creating a network of agents, initiatives and interests that play&#13;
a crucial role in local socio-economic contexts. This paper explores strategies for promoting enotourism&#13;
in the vine and wine regions along the Douro, aiming to highlight the multifunctional nature of&#13;
territorialised agricultural activity. Drawing on a review of scientific literature in this field, an analysis&#13;
of primary statistical sources and the outcomes of fieldwork conducted within the framework of the&#13;
AgroHub project, this paper emphasises the contextual diversity of experiences and resources that&#13;
characterise the tourism offerings of these territories.
