La picaresca femenina en el Siglo de Oro y su reformulación teatral contemporánea: un estudio a partir de "Malvivir" de Álvaro Tato

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza la narrativa picaresca femenina del Siglo de Oro español en contraste con la obra teatral contemporánea Malvivir (2022), de Álvaro Tato. El trabajo tiene como propósito rescatar del olvido la figura de la pícara, siempre relegada a un campo menor en el estudio literario, y, a su vez, visibilizar la mirada dogmática y patriarcal que ha sufrido históricamente la mujer. A través de la relectura de Malvivir, el estudio examina los códigos de la picaresca femenina y su relación con la realidad sociomoral áurea. De este modo, el análisis de los aspectos más relevantes de la picaresca femenina y su reformulación en una obra actual nos ofrece la posibilidad de adentrarnos en los bajos mundos de un siglo tan fructífero como contradictorio.

This paper analyzes the Spanish Golden Age female picaresca narrative in contrast with the contemporary theatrical play Malvivir (2022) by Álvaro Tato. The aim of this study is to bring renewed attention to the figure of the pícara , traditionally relegated to a marginal position within literary studies and, at the same time, to make visible the dogmatic and patriarchal gaze that women have historically suffered. Through a re reading of Malvivir, the study examines the codes of the female picaresque and its relationship with the socio-moral reality of the Golden Age. In this way, the analysis of the most relevant aspects of the female picaresque and its reformulation in a contemporary work offers an opportunity to delve into the underworld of a century as fruitful as it was contradictory.
