Pasado, presente y futuro de la protección del patrimonio monumental: análisis, evaluación, previsiones y propuestas de mejora a partir de las declaraciones en Castilla y León

Abstract

Esta tesis doctoral expone una visión general de la protección del Patrimonio en Castilla y León, siendo el objeto de estudio de esta investigación los Bienes de Interés Cultural categoría de monumento, estableciendo como hito las declaraciones de los mismos. Se justifica por la dispersión en el conocimiento debido a los distintos campos del saber que se ven involucrados, la importancia que a priori se da a este disciplina y la necesidad de avanzar en el estudio de carácter global del Patrimonio castellanoleonés. Los objetivos principales son: analizar aspectos claves para la comprensión de la protección del Patrimonio, evaluar el proceso de protección y presentar los protocolos para afrontar el futuro de la salvaguarda del Patrimonio inmueble en la región; pues la retrospectiva desde el siglo XIX hasta nuestros días permite poner la vista en el futuro. Además, plantea y aplica una metodología extrapolable a la investigación del Patrimonio tangible.

This thesis presents a general vision of the protection of Heritage in Castilla y León, the object of study of this research is the Cultural Interest Property category of monument, establishing as a milestone the declarations of the same. It is justified by the dispersion of knowledge due to the different fields of knowledge involved, the importance given to this discipline and the need to advance in the generalist study of the Castilian-Leonese Heritage. The main objectives are: to analyse key aspects for the understanding of the protection of heritage, to evaluate the process of protection and to present the protocols to face the future of the safeguarding of immovable Heritage in the region, since the retrospective study from the 19th century to the present day allows us to look to the future. It also proposes and applies a methodology that can be extrapolated to tangible heritage research.
