From this information we have carried out a review of the works in his collection preserved at the Museum Municipal de Villadiego related to the artistic activity of the copies and imitations which was very common at that time. It also allowed us to make a hypothesis about the modeling market from the dual need to meet a growing social demand and solve the artists own economy. Of course, both factors are governed by the law of supply and demand and are subject to a principle that has remained stable over time: the original work reaches a much higher that copies and imitations price. Market research, rules and preferences, also provides interesting information about the society, its culture and aesthetic preferences, early in the last century.en
