<dc:description>This TFM critically analyses the impact of three teaching methods on the scientific learning of secondary school students: hands-on experimentation, the use of virtual simulators, and the creation of reports using Generative AI. The proposal arises from the growing integration of Generative AI into educational contexts and the need to ensure that its use complements, rather than replaces, the processes of scientific inquiry and knowledge construction.
To this end, three learning scenarios related to electrical circuits, electromagnets and buoyancy have been designed, developed using the three aforementioned methods. Based on a review of the scientific literature and a comparative analysis of student autonomy and the quality of the final reports is examined.
As the proposal has not yet been implemented, this study does not draw empirical conclusions but rather suggests possible educational implications consistent with existing research. It concludes that a balanced integration of experimentation, virtual simulation and Gen AI can enrich scientific learning, provided that the students’ active role and intellectual autonomy are preserved.</dc:description>
