A partir
<dc:description>Migration in Spain has increased. This situation has had an impact on schools, which are
now welcoming an increasing number of late-starting pupils. These pupils face the dual
challenge of learning Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) whilst integrating into a new
academic, social and cultural environment, which entails specific educational and
emotional needs. Therefore, the aim is to design a teaching proposal based on Game
Based Learning (GBL) for the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language (level A1), aimed
at these students in Primary Education, including implementation criteria and assessment
tools. To achieve this, a theoretical review is conducted that addresses the characteristics
of these students, the competence guidelines for level A1 and the fundamentals of Game-
Based Learning (GBL), distinguishing it from other approaches such as gamification.
Based on the evaluation of previous literature, pedagogical criteria are established to
develop a playful and structured sequence along with its corresponding assessment tools.</dc:description>
