Departamento de Didácticas Específicas Marijuán Andueza, Myriam La religión ha sido un factor clave e influyente en la formación y pensamiento de las distintas sociedades a la largo de la historia. La prueba de esta influencia queda reflejada en parte de nuestro Patrimonio Histórico y Cultural, que en muchos casos, se trata de manifestaciones religiosas. La religión es, por tanto, un componente cultural y objeto de estudio de las Ciencias Sociales. Por esta razón se puede presuponer que el estudio de la religión o haber vivido en un contexto religioso puede ayudar a la comprensión y, consecuentemente, al estudio de la historia, debido a la estrecha relación que existe entre ellas. El trabajo que aquí se presenta es una investigación educativa que corrobora dicha hipótesis mediante resultados cuantitativos basados en correlaciones y comparaciones. Religion has been an influential key factor in the training and line of thinking of the different societies throughout history. Proof of this influence can be seen in part of our Historical and Cultural heritage, which in many cases presents itself in the form of religion-related manifestations. Religion is, therefore, a cultural component and the object of study of Social Sciences. It is for this reason that one can assume that the study of religion or having lived in a religious context can help to comprehend and, subsequently, to study history, due to the close relation that exists between these two.
