Atención socioeducativa de las personas sordas en Burgos: el Colegio de Sordomudos y Ciegos de Burgos (1860- 1947) (1962-1985) y la Comunidad Sorda Fray Pedro Ponce de León (1950-2003)

Esta investigación tiene por objeto describir la atención socioeducativa de las personas sordas de Burgos. Es un trabajo historiográfico desde una perspectiva descriptiva donde se expone y se da a conocer la vida social de las personas sordas desde su etapa de instrucción pública, con sus aspectos educativos y su posterior vida social dentro de la comunidad sorda.
Se mencionan los momentos más relevantes del proceso: su construcción y funcionamiento como Colegio de Sordos y los esfuerzos de las autoridades políticas burgalesas por mantener un centro de instrucción permanente, por primera vez, para la educación de personas sordas. Se estudia su primera apertura y mayor renombre, (1868-1928), su decadencia (1929-1937) y posterior cierre (1937-1961) y una segunda apertura (1961-1985) que finaliza con las políticas educativas de integración e inclusión social.
Analiza el interés social y personal de la Asociación de Sordos de Burgos, como comunidad socioeducativa: periodo de (1950-2000)
Thais resecar aims to describe the socialeducational care of the Deaf People in Burgos. It is a historiographical work from a descriptive perspective where social life of deaf people it’s exposed and disclosed from the stage of public instruction, with its educational aspects and subsequent social life from within a deaf community.
The most relevant moments of the process are mentioned: its construction and performance as a School of Deaf People and the constant effort of the political authorities in Burgos to maintain a permanent instruction center, for the first time, for the education of deaf people. Its first opening and most reowned period is studied (1868-1928), its decline (1929-1937) and subsequent closing (1961-1985) and a second reopening (1961-1985) that with the educational policies of integration and social inclusion.
Analyzes the social and personal interest of the Deaf Association of Burgos, as a socialeducational community: period from 1950 to 2000.
