Campillo Cueva, Jacinto Gaspar Varona es un personaje burgalés desconocido, nacido en la actual Villanueva de Teba. Su carrera política y militar culminó en el reinado de Felipe V al ser nombrado gobernador de Tucumán (Argentina). Allí se distinguió por practicar una política pacifista con los pueblos indígenas del Chaco. El ejercicio de su cargo le permitió reunir cuantiosos bienes, invertidos en Perú en obras piadosas o enviados a sus familiares para fundar una capilla y tres capellanías en la iglesia de su pueblo natal. Asimismo, fue benefactor de la mencionada parroquia a la que donó numerosas piezas litúrgicas de plata. Gaspar Varona is an unknown character, born in the now called Villanueva de Teba.
