Martín Martínez de Simón, Elena Santa María del Campo Tardogótico Arquitectura religiosa Bóvedas Simón de Colonia Late Gothic Religious architecture Vaults Este artículo pretende dar algunas pautas para poder realizar una datación de la construcción tardogótica de la iglesia de la Asunción de Santa María del Campo. Para ello, se ha realizado un estudio formalista de las portadas y de la tipología de sus bóvedas. Entre las bóvedas se pueden encontrar algunas con nervios combados y, por ello, se solían datar en un adelantado siglo XVI. Sin embargo, como aquí se quiere mostrar, estas fechas se pueden adelantar algunos años y englobar esta construcción en los últimos años del siglo XV y seguramente realizada por el único maestro capaz en este momento de realizar combados en Burgos, Simón de Colonia. This article aims to give some guidelines to make a dating of the Late Gothic construction of the church of the Assumption in Santa María del Campo. To do this, there has been a formal analysis of the facade and typology of its vaults. There are some vaults with curved ribs and, therefore, were often dated to an early sixteenth century. However, as we want to show here, these dates may be brought forward a few years and introduce this building in the last years of fifteenth century.
