Este estudio versa sobre la villa de Valdezate que perteneció
hasta el año 1674 a la Comunidad de Villa y Tierra de Haza,
de la que era señor el Conde de Miranda. Ese año obtuvo de Carlos
II el Privilegio de Villazgo, y con él la independencia jurídica de la
villa de Haza y su propia condición de villa. A través del estudio del
Privilegio de Villazgo y el proceso y autos de la escisión instruido por José de Urrutia, podemos conocer la realidad demográfica, fiscal
y territorial de Valdezate en el último cuarto del siglo XVII.
This Study is about la villa de Valdezate that belonged
to la Comunidad de Villa y Tierra de Haza until 1674, whose owner
was el Conde de Miranda. This year got of Carlos II the Villazgo
Privilege, and with this the legal independence of la villa de Haza
and his own condition of villa. Through the study of the Villazgo
Privilege and the process and the autos of the split instructed by José
de Urrutia we can know the reality of the demography, taxation and
territory of Valdezate in the last quarter of the XVII century.
