La urbanización de la Barriada Máximo Nebreda hizo
desaparecer en enero de 1990 el último pozo de nieve del que se tenía
noticia en Burgos. Testigos del suceso dieron cuenta en Diario de
Burgos de las circunstancias del mismo, lamentándose de la pérdida
de este patrimonio etnográfico y cultural. Veinticinco años después,
en la misma zona, han visto la luz los restos de una nevera en el
interior de una vivienda recuperados por su propietario.
The urbanisation of the Máximo Nebreda Neighbourhood
made disappear in January 1990 the last snow well whose existence
was known. Witnesses of the event reported the cirsumstances to
the Burgos diary, regretting the loss of this ethnographic and cultural
heritage. Twenty-five years later, at the same area, the remains
of a snow well have been discovered in the inside of a dwelling by
its owner.
