La medicina doméstica, encuadrada en el amplio y diverso grupo de la medicina popular, cuenta en Burgos con un ejemplo
significativo, el tratado de “Higiene y medicina popular”, escrito
y publicado en 1930 por el benedictino silense P. Saturio González
Salas, con el objetivo fundamental de ayudar a la población con
menos recursos a solucionar sus problemas de salud. Al análisis de su
estructura y contenidos está dedicado este trabajo.
The domestic medicine, framed in the wide and diverse
group of popular medicine, has a significant example in Burgos; the
teatrise on “Hygiene and Popular medicine”, written and published
in 1930 by the benedictine fhather from the Monastery of Silos,
Saturio González Salas, with fundamental objective of supporting
the population with fewer resources to solve their health problems.
To the analysis of its structure and its content is dedicated this work.
