y la escritora de la Generación del 27, María Teresa León (1903-1988),&#xd;
riojana aunque burgalesa de corazón, coincidieron en el semanario&#xd;
madrileño Por esos mundos, subtitulado Revista semanal y Revista&#xd;
de todo para todos, donde María Teresa León publicó el relato Amaro&#xd;
«el Pelegrino» que ilustró Gil de Vicario. Es este uno de los textos&#xd;
olvidados de la escritora, que ve ahora la luz, en el que dibuja a San&#xd;
Amaro a través de un relato en el que confluyen las leyendas existentes&#xd;
sobre el santo, cuyo sepulcro se encuentra en la ermita de su advocación,&#xd;
junto al Hospital del Rey de Burgos. Al hilo de la historia, Gil&#xd;
de Velasco dibuja el Camino de Santiago y dos escenas de la vida del&#xd;
popularmente llamado «pelegrino».</dim:field>

Amaro «el Pelegrino» (Amaro the Pilgrim) whiwh Gil de Vicario illustrated. This is one of the forgotten texts from the writer, which arises&#xd;
now, in which San Amaro is portraited through a story in wich the&#xd;
historic legends about the saint, whose sepulchre is located at the&#xd;
shrine of his name near the Hospital del Rey (King's Hos pital) in&#xd;
Burgos, conflude. Following the story, Gil de Velasco draws the Way&#xd;
of Saint James and two scenes of the pilgrim's life.</dim:field>
