Este artículo aborda la posible catalogación y atribución
de la imagen de un Niño Jesús encontrada en la Colegiata de
Covarrubias, al imaginero Juan de Mesa. Todo ello a través de un
profundo estudio de la imagen valiéndose de recursos comparativos
y estilísticos entre el Niño Jesús al que se trata de dar autoría y las
características de los niños Jesús de la época.
This article present the possible vesting of the icon of
an Infant Jesus discovered in the main church of Covarrubias, to the
sculptor Juan de Mesa. All of this, through a detailed study of the icon
using comparatives studies between this sculpture and another iconographies
dated in the same period.
