provechosos proyectos.</dim:field>
<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract" lang="en">Like many other villages in our provincial geography,
Villaldemiro was born with the repopulation, taking the name of
a colonist Germanic-Visigoth roots called Ademiro, although it is
in the Middle Ages when the village acquires special relevance for
being the place where Prince Alfonso, later Alfonso X the Wise,
was raised. Since then, nobles and commoners, clergy and laity have been develope their everyday life around the parish temples of
Santiago and Santa Juliana, patrons of the two neighborhoods that
formed Villaldemiro. Today, leaving behind the disasters of wars
and the wounds of emigration, the town is determined to breathe
new airs, where art and culture complement the daily chores with
profitable projects.</dim:field>
