Se estudian en este trabajo los médicos titulares que
prestaron su asistencia a los vecinos de Aranda de Duero entre 1700
y 1825, estableciendo tres periodos bien diferenciados en función
de su número y de sus condiciones laborales. Al mismo tiempo se
analiza su procedencia, sus matrimonios, situación económica, relaciones
con otros profesionales sanitarios y con la comunidad a la
que servían; procurando dibujar el perfil sociológico de buena parte
de ellos.
This work examines the permanent doctors who attended
the inhabitants of Aranda de Duero between the years 1700
and 1825. It establishes three well defined periods based on their
number and their working terms. At the same time, it analyses their
origin, their marriages, their financial situation, their relationships
with other medicine professionals and with the region they attended,
trying to portray a sociological profile that fits most part of
them.
