No siempre ocurrió de manera similar. Se observa, en la diacronía, un importante devenir en su implantación, circunstancia que no afectó, obviamente, a todas las categorías socio-profesionales de una forma generalizada ni equiparable. También existen significativos contrastes en lo tocante al número de vidrios, y ello observado desde múltiples perspectivas. Los quehaceres laborales, la extracción estamental y los niveles de fortuna impregnaban este capítulo de la cultura material con notorias peculiaridades. In the eighteenth-century houses of Burgos, between 20 and 30%, on average there were glasses and windows in windows, balconies or glass doors in domestic interiors. This was not always this way. It is observed, in the diachrony, an important evolution in its implantation, a circumstance that obviously did not affect all the socio-professional categories in a generalized or comparable way. There are also significant contrasts in the number of glasses, and this is observed from multiple perspectives.
