Las investigaciones actuales han descubierto diversas
peñas sagradas prerromanas en Burgos. A ellas se unen leyendas y
tradiciones populares que pueden relacionarse con ritos ancestrales
vinculados a árboles, cuevas, romerías y poemas épicos de la literatura
castellana.
Current research has discovered several pre-Roman
sacred rocks in Burgos. They are joined by legends and popular traditions
that can be related to ancestral rites linked to trees, caves,
pilgrimages and epic poems in Castillan literature.
