El desmontaje de los sitiales altos de la catedral de Plasencia, con motivo de la restauración
realizada recientemente por el Instituto del Patrimonio Cultural de España, ha permitido rescatar
algunos fragmentos caídos que permanecían en una zona inaccesible. Con la recuperación de
estos elementos se ha podido realizar su reintegración y reubicar el tablero con la representación
del martirio de Isaías que estaba fuera de lugar y completar con ello el programa iconográfico del
conjunto catedralicio.
The dismantling of the high honor seats of the cathedral of Plasencia due to the restoration carried
out recently by the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Spain, has made it possible to rescue some
fallen fragments that remained in an inaccessible area. With the recovery of these elements, it has
been possible to reintegrate them and relocate the panel with the representation of the martyrdom
of Isaiah that was out of place and thereby complete the iconographic program of the cathedral
complex.
