Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster presenta una propuesta didáctica contextualizada en un
Aula Temporal de Adaptación Lingüística (ATAL). Se parte de los datos estadísticos sobre la
inmigración y el alumnado extranjero en el sistema educativo en España y en Andalucía. A
continuación, se exponen los contextos educativos de acogida, haciendo un repaso por los
diversos modelos de aulas de acogida en España para pasar a analizar en detalle el modelo de
las ATAL en Andalucía.
Después, estudiamos las corrientes metodológicas que pueden resultar más interesantes
en este contexto en el que niños estudian español con el objetivo de utilizarlo como lengua de
instrucción. Realizamos también un perfil sociolingüístico de los estudiantes marroquíes de
español, analizando la amalgama lingüística de Marruecos, así como las principales dificultades
de los hablantes de dariya L1.
La propuesta didáctica gira entorno a la familia y la descripción, tomando como hilo
conductor a la familia Madrigal de la película Encanto (2021) de Disney. La metodología en la
que se basa esta unidad es el enfoque por tareas dentro del método comunicativo, por lo que a
lo largo de la unidad didáctica se proponen diferentes tareas posibilitadoras que permiten llegar
a la tarea final, que consiste en la presentación de la familia de cada estudiante.
El enfoque metodológico en el que se basa este trabajo es la investigación-acción, así
que, finalmente, se ha contado con la retroalimentación de tres profesiones del campo de las
ATAL, que han valorado la adecuación y vialidad de esta unidad didáctica en una ATAL con
alumnado marroquí.
This Master’s Final Dissertation presents a didactic proposal that is contextualized in a
Temporary Reception Class for Linguistic Adaptation (ATAL) which has Moroccan students
that have recently entered the Spanish educational system. The ATAL is located in a rural area
of the autonomous community of Andalusia.
The dissertation begins with the statistical data on immigration and foreign students in
the educational system in Spain and the autonomous community of Andalusia. Next, the
different reception educational contexts are discussed, undertaking an overview of the various
models of reception classes in Spain and then moving on to analysing in detail the configuration
of ATAL in Andalusia.
Afterwards, the dissertation lays out the methodological trends that are useful in this
context, where students study Spanish in order to use it as a language of instruction. A
sociolinguistic profile of Moroccan students that learn Spanish is outlined, considering the
linguistic mosaic of Moroccan, as well as the main difficulties for speakers of dariya as L1.
This didactic proposal revolves around the family and the description, taking as the
Madrigal family from the Disney film Encanto (2021) as a guiding threat. This didactic unit’s
methodology is the task-based approach within the communicative method, therefore
throughout the unit students carry out facilitator tasks that allow them to fulfill the final task,
which consists in the presentation of each student’s family.
The methodological approach followed by this dissertation is action research so, finally,
three professionals from the field of ATAL have provided their feedback, evaluation the
suitability and feasibility of the didactic unit in an ATAL class with Moroccan students.
