In particular, this work analyzes how emissions are measured and managed across the company’s supply chain through a qualitative single-case study. Drawing on a five-month internship within Antolin’s sustainable supply chain team, the research combines semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The empirical analysis develops a baseline emissions profile and evaluates four decarbonization scenarios: business-as-usual, renewable energy, committed suppliers, and maximized product-level decarbonization. Results show that supply chain emissions account for approximately 92% of Antolin’s total carbon footprint, and that no single lever is sufficient to meet Science Based Targets initiative pathways. While renewable energy and supplier engagement generate significant reductions, only their combination with material substitution approaches the required decarbonization trajectory.
