First, a systematic review was conducted on the use of biosensors in IVR experiences. Subsequently, an IVR application was developed to deliver Progressive Muscle Relaxation training and was compared with its traditional implementation. Finally, an immersive escape room serious game was developed that uses the user’s heart rate to adapt the experience and train emotional regulation through breathing. The results show that IVR can facilitate reductions in subjective anxiety and promote motivation, attention, and the learning of self-regulation strategies. The use of physiological biofeedback may additionally provide a more interactive and personalized experience YR 2026 FD 2026-09-11 LK https://hdl.handle.net/10259/12291 UL https://hdl.handle.net/10259/12291 LA eng DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Burgos RD 22-oct-2026
