AB Drug abuse is a worldwide problem that claims thousands of lives each year; causing the devastation of families and the suffering of thousands of people. Around half of these deaths are caused by fatal overdoses in young victims. This work describes a new methodology for the determination of the purity of cocaine street samples, based on the use of redox modified screen-printed carbon electrodes (SPCEs), nanomaterials modified SPCEs and voltammetric techniques.
