Thesample was comprised of 102 students of whom70 were in the 2nd year of the degree of EarlyChildhood Education -subject SystematicAssessment- and 32 were AudiovisualCommunication degree students -Subject Art-. Forthese goals, a pre-post quasi-experimental designand a descriptive-correlational design wererespectively used. As to the first aim, meaningfuldifferences in knowledge pre-post instruction werefound, but as to the second one, a few significantcorrelations were only found between selfknowledgeand the professor’s assessment in someof the units of the subject of Art, but not in thesubject of Systematic Assessment. It is, therefore,necessary to improve the processes of selfperceptionof knowledge in Higher Education topromote safer and more successful learning.
