Following a qualitative methodology, data was obtained through the observation of individual student diaries, the teacher's diary and a focus group. The results show that a correct use of formative and shared evaluation increases students' motivation to develop expressive contents as well as their individual and group commitment. Students being able to choose their own teams, the greater amount of freedom that the creative methodology offers them, the permanent knowledge of what is demanded from the student, the playful aspect of the contents, and the provision of feedback are some of the factors that influence increased motivation and commitment levels from students.
