There are multiple methodological options with which to achieve this teaching aim. It is likewise possible to integrate those options within a proposal known as Service-learning, whereby the students assume a leading role in the construction of their own knowledge, responding to real situations with a social dimension. We centre on the binomial ‘heritage and education’ as a social need to develop this proposal, selecting the Roman city of Clunia as a reference for community service.
