This Master's Final Project consists of the design and creation of part of the scenario for the racing video game Fastastic Roads developed by the ÍTACA group of the University of Burgos. This video game aims to give visibility to four pioneering women in different areas of engineering from the mid-19th century to the first half of the 20th century. The scenario object of this project is set at that time to model two factories in three dimensions in which a process of extraction, iron processing, manufacture of metal parts and, also, obtaining steel is carried out. In parallel, two Final Degree Projects together with other members of ÍTACA develop the programming, the image of the video game and the rest of the modeling of the elements that make up the scenario. The design of the video game scenario requires extensive pre-production, so that the development lasts as little time as possible. This production phase is carried out in Blender, software in which the modeling and texturing of the objects is carried out. The modeling is low poly with simple shapes and little detail that allows the setting not to negatively affect the performance of the video game. Also the objects and composition of the scenario have been adapted to facilitate the programming of the first versions, being able to be used in the future as elements that have a more direct interaction with the player. Throughout the work process, the knowledge learned in the Master in Communication and Multimedia Development will be put into practice so that the design and modeling of the elements are optimized for their implementation in the video game.en
