AB To analyse any type of written source from the palaeographic anddiplomatic perspective requires a profound study of its external characters(material on which it was written, handwriting, punctuation, specialsigns, seals, ink, etc.) and internal characteristics (diplomatic structure,language, contents, information, etc.) as the aim is to obtain exhaustiveand systematic information about the source. Such signs, in particular validations, in the Becerro Gótico of SanPedro de Cardeña are studied here
