El romanticismo peruano posee una clara influencia del romanticismo europeo, incluso, en lo referente a las connotaciones melancólicas que marcan vehementemente este movimiento literario. Aún así, posee también un marcado espíritu de la tierra peruana con todas sus mezcolanzas raciales y culturales. En este artículo se va a tratar de las influencias románticas externas al Perú y de su vinculación con la melancolía; también de las influencias internas que relacionan esta literatura con la esencia indígena de la cultura andina.
Peruvian romanticism has a clear influence of european romanticism. Both are relationed with the concept of melancholy. In peruvian romanticism exists this melancholy spirit and, also, an other racial and cultural conections. This article is going to talk about the external romantic influences in peruvian romantic movement and the internal influences that conects this literature with the indigenous essence of andean culture.
