Nowadays, an increasing number of postgraduate studies in language and literature teaching are considering the possibility of moving abroad to teach their mother tongue or their first foreign language. For this purpose, the programs organized by governmental bodies in the field of culture and education serve as an incentive and economic stimulus. In fact, in the case of Spain, the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training offered 815 places in the call for Spanish language assistants abroad for the academic year 2020-2021. The network of countries participating in this program included Germany, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, United States, Russia, France, Ireland, Italy, Norway, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Sweden and Switzerland.en
