dc.description.abstractLa ansiedad y la depresión son dos males que acechan a la salud mental de un gran porcentaje de la población mundial. En el caso de los niños y adolescentes, este porcentaje es aún mayor. Asimismo, existe un gran estigma y ciertos prejuicios sociales sobre la salud mental que hacen que muchos pacientes no acudan a un profesional para tratarse. Por eso, es necesario buscar vías alternativas para paliar esta situación. En el presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster se han desarrollado tres videojuegos en realidad virtual orientados a provocar en el jugador diferentes estados emocionales. El objetivo principal de estos juegos es que los jugadores adquieran un mayor conocimiento y dominio de la regulación emocional para que puedan utilizarlo en su vida cotidiana. Estos videojuegos serán desarrollados con el motor de videojuegos Unreal Engine y posteriormente incluidos en un videojuego mayor llamado 3DC orientado a sensibilizar a los niños sobre la depresión.es
dc.description.abstractAnxiety and depression are two social ills that threaten the mental health of a large percentage of the world’s population. This percentage is even higher in the case of children and adolescents. Likewise, many patients do not go to a professional for treatment because there is a great stigma and certain social prejudices about mental health. Therefore, it is necessary to look for alternative ways to palliate this situation. In this Final Master’s Project, three virtual reality video games have been developed aimed to provoke different emotional states in the gamer. The main objective of these games is that the player acquires a greater knowledge and domination of emotional regulation, so they could use it in their daily life. These video games will be developed with the game engine Unreal Engine. Later, they will be included in a larger video game called 3DC, aimed at sensitizing children about depression.es
