Este trabajo trata de dar a conocer las distintas transformaciones
que han sufrido las calles que forman parte del ámbito del
Área de Rehabilitación del Centro Histórico de la ciudad de Burgos.
Estas vías, cuya génesis nos remite a la Edad Media, han sido objeto
de modificaciones a lo largo de los siglos con el fin de mejorar su accesibilidad
y el tránsito de los peatones y de los medios de transporte en
las distintas épocas. A través de los distintos archivos de la ciudad
hemos podido ver la evolución del plano en esta área en los siglos XVI,
XVII y XVIII.
The aim of this article is to present the different transformations
of the streets around the Rehabilitation Area of the Historic
Downtown of Burgos. These pathways, whose genesis goes back to
the Middle Ages, have been modified over the centuries in order to
improve accessibility and pedestrian traffic at different times.
Through the various archives of the city, we have seen the evolution
of the plane in this area over the sixteenth, seventeenth and eighteenth
centuries.
